Mark’s Daily Brief: Trust

Theme: Trust

Tip: Choose to do fewer things better. The next time you are asked to deliver on a certain task or objective, consider pausing to first evaluate the amount of time you have to dedicate to this new task before automatically saying “yes.”

“It is difficult to trust others or be trusted if you first don’t trust yourself.” — Mark Divine

First you must understand what trust is — a bond/commitment to uphold your word driven by your own personal stand in life. This allows you to become a trustworthy human being who can be trusted by others, thus allowing yourself to also be trusting of others. Cultivating trust requires self-awareness to be able to follow-through on what you say you will do. Be sure to stand by your word and reinforce your commitments with positive action. Over time, you will build a remarkable foundation of trust that others can rely upon. Hooyah, Mark 👊
