Mark’s Daily Brief: Perseverance

Theme: The courage to keep going

Tip: Reflect on the following questions . . .

  1. How do you deal with success and failures in your life?
  2. Are you easily discouraged when facing an obstacle or do you find yourself resourceful in finding new ways to persevere?

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It’s the courage to continue that counts.” — Winston Churchill

How do you define success? Success is a constant “becoming” as there is no “there” there on your journey. One success often opens the door to another opportunity, leading to more possibilities for growth. Failing towards a goal is often a lesson on how not to do things or how to do things better the second time. Therefore, have the courage to continue growing and preserving amongst the challenges that you will inevitably face along the way. Stay focused 👊
