Theme: Control your internal reactions
Tip: Take time to train to control what you can control so you are more prepared for the uncontrollable challenges when they appear. If you don’t already, implement a box-breathing practice in the morning (start with 5 minutes and work up to 20 minutes) to begin practicing simple breath control.
“He, who masters internal, controls external.” — Ansow
If you don’t train to control your internal processing, then anything can trigger a conditioned reaction. You cannot control external circumstances or the way other people may react during crises. Focus on your own internal control and you will find yourself navigating uncontrollable circumstances more fluidly and intentionally. Stay focused 👊
